Tested and Certified

All International Appraisals, Inc.'s appraisers are Senior Members of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).  Achieving membership and senior member status requires experience appraising within the specific discipline, participation in continuing education, rigorous testing, peer review, compliance with the code of ethical conduct, and strict adherence to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

Our appraisers are Members of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS). RICS credentials are only awarded to individuals who meet the most rigorous education, experience and ethical requirements.

The letters MRICS represent professionalism and quality and are awarded to individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Education - the individual must hold a relevant Bachelor's level qualification and/or an RICS recognized professional designation.
  • Experience - most individuals have at least ten years relevant experience. Those with a Master's degree may only need five years.
  • Ethics - the individual agrees to be accountable to a strict code of conduct.
  • Evaluation - most individuals complete written submissions and a final assessment interview to communicate professional and technical competence.

Confidentiality
Disclosure of the contents of an appraisal is governed by the Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).  The fact that an appraiser has been employed to make an appraisal is confidential.  It is not proper for an appraiser to disclose the fact of engagement, to reveal to any third party the amount of the valuation, or to release the identifiable contents of any report or inquiry without the clients' consent.
